Terms of Service
These working terms are intended for counsel review before launch.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use The Golden Feather. Do not use the service if you are under 18 or legally barred from using matchmaking services.
Private intake
You agree to provide truthful information and to update information that becomes inaccurate. You are responsible for the text, preferences, uploaded photos, and Instagram or X profiles you submit.
Public directory cards
If you publish a public directory card or ask The Golden Feather by direct message to publish one, you direct The Golden Feather to display the public card information you submit, including your first name, city, age range, photo, one-sentence bio, looking-for choice, and open-to-introductions status if provided. Your Instagram and/or X profiles are used for operations and are not displayed in the directory. Do not publish information you are not comfortable making public. You may unpublish your card or ask us to remove it, and The Golden Feather may remove or decline cards for safety, trust, legal, or operational reasons.
Introductions
The Golden Feather may review directory cards and profile-share requests, but does not promise a match, relationship, response, outcome, compatibility, background check, identity verification, or personal safety. When you ask us to share your profile with someone, you authorize us to send that person your submitted Instagram or X profile and your note. If they are interested too, they may share their profile back.
Conduct
You may not harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate, exploit, solicit money from, pressure someone to respond or share a profile back, ignore stated boundaries, or harm another person. The Golden Feather may deny service, remove access, or decline profile shares for safety, trust, legal, or operational reasons.
Fees
The current directory and profile-share flow does not require payment. If fees are introduced later, payment terms should be confirmed clearly before they apply.
No professional advice
The Golden Feather is not legal, financial, medical, mental health, or safety advice. Use your own judgment and seek professional or emergency help when needed.
Policy changes
We may update these terms and related notices. When changes are material, we should request a new acknowledgement before continued intake or submission.
